At The House of Resurrection (THORP), our mission is to glorify God and bring transformation to lives through the power of Jesus Christ. We are called to:
Reach the lost with the gospel, proclaiming the love of Christ and the hope of salvation to all people.
Raise disciples who are firmly rooted in God’s Word, growing in faith, and empowered to live holy and purposeful lives.
Restore lives and communities by showing compassion, meeting needs, and offering hope to the broken and hurting.
Release people into their God-given purpose, equipping them with spiritual and practical tools to impact their families, communities, and the nations.
Resound the gospel of resurrection power, declaring that with God, nothing is impossible and every life can be made new.
We believe that through worship, prayer, teaching, and service, God is building a people of influence who will shine His light and extend His Kingdom on earth.
We Believe
At The House of Resurrection (THORP), we stand firmly on the Word of God and hold to the core truths of the Christian faith:
- The Bible – We believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word and our final authority for faith and life.
God – We believe in one God, revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ – We believe Jesus is the Son of God, who came to save the world through His death and resurrection.
Salvation – We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
The Holy Spirit – We believe the Holy Spirit empowers believers to live holy lives and equips us with spiritual gifts for service.
The Church – We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, love one another, and reach the world with the gospel.
The Resurrection & Eternal Life – We believe in the resurrection of the dead and eternal life with God for all who believe in Christ.
